SteemianはwebサイトSteemitのメンバーを示す用語である。
クジラ
“クジラ”は元々、ビットコイン市場において影響力の高い大口トレーダーを示す用語であった。その後、様々な仮想通貨の大口トレーダーを示す言葉として使われるようになった。[1]
SteemitにおいてはSTEEM Power（SP）を多く持つ、即ち大きい投票力を持つユーザーをクジラと言う。クジラも参照。
イルカ
“イルカ”は、仮想通貨ユーザーの間で、クジラとミノーの中間の収入を持つユーザーを示す用語である。イルカはミノーと違っていくらかの影響力を持つ。イルカはクジラの活動の影響をあまり受けない。イルカも参照。
ミノー
"ミノー"（小魚）とは小規模または零細の個人または団体を示す用語である。
仮想通貨市場において、ミノーは非常に収入の少ないトレーダーである。ミノーは市場にほとんどあるいは全く影響しない。ミノーはしばしばクジラを中心とした集団に従っている。
SteemitにおいてミノーはほとんどSTEEM Powerを持たないユーザーである。そのため、ミノーの投票力は非常に弱く、投稿に分配される収入への影響はほとんどない。ミノーも参照。
Others
海洋生態系へのアナロジーを続けると、一部のユーザはオルカやレッドフィッシュと呼ばれる。他のSteemianは違う方法でSteemizenやSteemulanなどを定義している。
