Blocktrades (jp)

2015年にDan Notesteinによって設立されたBlocktradesは、BitSharesブロックチェーンや今後登場するPeerplaysブロックチェーン上で開発された単一の契約により様々な仮想通貨を購入することができるマーケットメイクwebサイトである。また、Openledgerのdeposit/withdrawalゲートウェイのテクニカルサポートを行っている。このwebサイトは、集中化した仮想通貨取引所で購入することに一般的に付随する手間を省いて、ユーザーが迅速かつ安全に仮想通貨を購入できるようにすることを目的としている。従来の取引所とは異なり、顧客はサイト上に残高を維持する必要はない。

2016年7月4日のSteemitの最初の支払い以来、SteemianはSTEEMトークンをBlocktradesでビットコインのような他の仮想通貨と交換することができる。

店頭（OTC）マーケットとして、Blocktradesは、基本的な2つの分類された金融マーケットのもう1つである取引所とは異なる。店頭マーケットでは、ディーラーは証券や通貨を売買する相場価格を用いてマーケットメイカーとして働く。店頭マーケットでは取引が行われた価格を第三者に知られることなく、2人の参加者の間でトレードが行われる。従って、一般に店頭マーケットは取引所よりも透明性が低く、規制が少なくなっている。

Blocktradesのwebサイトはケイマン諸島で登録された企業であるBlockTrades International Ltd.によって運営されている。
